A medical certificate is a certificate that shows that a patient is eligible for benefits from the publicly funded health care system of Japan. It contains various information required to receive publicly funded medical care.
The recipients of the grant are the elderly and children, and so forth.It is necessary to apply at the government office or by mail. If you meet the requirements, a certificate will be mailed. For more information, contact your municipality.
If you forget your medical certificate or if it is expired or invalid, please submit the valid certificate within this month and we will refund the difference between the full co-payment amount and the amount covered by insurance.
